At Hands Off we want to make more sustainable and plant-based alternatives to real indulgence products. We call it “plantifying”, but without sacrificing taste. After many factory rejections and endless cookie tastings, we have succeeded in making this plant-based variant at least as tasty as “regular” chocolate chip cookies. We bet you won’t taste any difference and in fact, we had them tested by over 100 fans and they liked our cookies even better than other cookies in the supermarket.

Making an impact without realizing it. Hardly anyone knows that the footprint of chocolate is almost as high as that of pork. Unfortunately, chocolate chip cookies also have a high climate footprint. ‘Ordinary’ chocolate chip cookies emit an average of 5.0 Kg CO2e per Kg. For comparison: if you eat an average pack of cookies, you emit more CO2 than eating a pack of ham! Our cookies do not contain milk, butter, eggs or palm oil and emit 2.3 Kg of CO2e per Kg. That is a saving of no less than 54%. So tasty without feeling guilty.
